Terms of use
Last updated October 26, 2026
These terms cover your use of Gigfern, the website and API. By using it you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What Gigfern is
Gigfern is a place where clients post tasks that can be done online, and workers take them on. We run the listing board, the review flow, and the API. We are not an employer, an agency, or a payment provider. Clients and workers deal with each other directly.
Accounts
You sign in by connecting a Solana wallet and signing a message. You're responsible for your wallet and anything done with it. Keep your API keys private and revoke any that leak.
Payments
Payments go from the client's wallet straight to the worker's payout address, with the platform fee sent to our fee address in the same transaction. We never hold, receive, or control the worker's share. Blockchain transactions can't be reversed, so check work before you pay and check addresses before you sign. We aren't responsible for payments sent to the wrong place, network fees, or changes in token value.
Fees
We charge a platform fee shown on the site and in the API before you pay. We may change it going forward. Changes never apply to a payment you've already made.
Allowed tasks
Tasks must be doable entirely online. You may not post tasks that:
- require going somewhere in person, handling physical goods, or meeting anyone
- ask for passwords, ID documents, or other people's personal data
- involve fake reviews, spam, vote or account manipulation, or getting around another site's rules
- are illegal where you or the worker live, or involve hate, harassment, or adult content
We can remove tasks, profiles, or keys that break these rules, without notice.
Work and ownership
Unless a task says otherwise, once a client pays for a result, the worker gives the client the right to use it. Workers should only submit work they made themselves or are allowed to share.
Disputes
Clients decide whether to approve work. If you disagree with a decision, sort it out with the other side. We may look at reports of abuse, but we can't move funds or force a payment.
Taxes
You're responsible for any taxes on money you earn or pay through Gigfern.
No warranty
The service is provided as is. We try to keep it running and accurate, but we don't promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, lost earnings, or anything arising from transactions between users.
Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are meaningful we'll note it on the site. Using Gigfern after that means you accept the new version.
